"I'm an entertainer who just happens to use magic" says Bob Bohm, Master Magician and Variety Entertainer.

For Bob Bohm life is full of magic having been a part of his life since he was 10 years old. Growing up in Racine, Wisconsin he would ride his bicycle to a local magician's home to learn magic tricks. He'd practice for hours at a time with dreams of someday becoming a famous magician. As his friends got part-time jobs, Bob entertained at birthday parties, banquets, fairs and festivals. "I put myself through college that way," he says.

After college, a U.S. Army officer commission took him to Europe for eight years where he attended his first magic conventions watching, practicing with and learning from some of Europe's finest magicians. He also performed as he traveled through Europe. In Greece, Italy, France, Austria and Germany magic helped break the language barrier. He became a favorite at several of Frankfurt's hottest nightclubs. After returning to the U.S., Bob continued to perform around the states; Florida, California, Minnesota and later back in his home town where he finally settled.

All the year's of hard work and practice have not gone unnoticed. He's won numerous top place honors in competitions for stage magicians and was named the 1994 Magician of The Year by the Milwaukee Chapter of the Society of American Magicians.

Bob perform's for a variety of different audiences and events --- schools, fairs, festivals, trade shows, corporate events, conventions even birthday parties and anniversaries. He has developed a style over the years of presenting a clean yet polished act that tries to entertain more then amaze. Its comedy, music and fun all rolled into one. Bob engages his audience to be an integral part of the festivities. It may be as simple as a demonstration of mentalism or as surprising as taking someone from the audience and sawing 'em in half. But always done with a comical and entertaining flair.

Bob's magic also helps to motivate, educate and build self esteem in children. His Magic With A Meaning programs are presented to thousands of school children every year. Whether it's his show about saying no to drugs, promoting books and reading or the the one about respect and manners, Bob's ability to weave the message in with the magic is an art in its self. Students are entertained while learning a valuable lesson.

A teacher as well Bob presents over 50 Magic Workshops per year. He instructs kids on the simple basics of magic while motivating them to strive to do their best and let them know anything in life is possible with a little magic. He has also lectured to numerous groups of early childhood educators and care providers on how to motivate young children.

For over 30 years, Bohm has performed thousands of tricks and illusions. Bob says, "It's not the magic tricks that keeps me going, its the thrill of knowing that people are enjoying themselves and being entertained by what I do. In other words, during my performance, I love to see people having fun and "Experience The Wonder" of magic.
